Peter Corry.

Peter Corry

Peter Corry has the kind of voice you never forget, the kind of voice that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and takes you on a musical roller coaster ride of emotion.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Peter has travelled the globe with his unique sound and timeless classics.

His astonishing talent spans the great musicals, opera, rock, jazz and the haunting melodies of his native Isle.

Peter began his career playing the euphonium and French horn in the Belfast Youth Orchestra. Destiny took charge at 26 when he went to see Miss Saigon in London's West End. This was a pivotal moment in his life and he decided then and there that he was going to embark on a professional singing career. And so, as they say, a star was born.

Having performed as Dean Martin in The Rat Pack, he starred in Night of 1,000 Stars at the Royal Albert Hall and performed in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Peter's musical gift was quickly recognised and he presented his own TV series, The Peter Corry Show with BBC Northern Ireland, singing alongside a plethora of international personalities.

Irish Nights.

Irish Nights

Irish Nights is a new show produced by Alan Whelan and Michael Durkan.

Irish Nights moves on from the Irish dance phenomenon that swept across the world causing huge interest in all things to do with Irish culture, and concentrates on the authentic music and song from the Emerald Isle.

The show contains some of Ireland’s best and accomplished traditional musicians and singers and is an evening that will be remembered by all.

The repertoire from the show contains some of the best known Irish ballads and traditional tunes that are sure to keep the feet tapping long after the show has finished.

The albums were recorded over a leisurely 12 month period from July 2006 to July 2007 at Solitaire Residential Recording Studio. The current repertoire for the show turned out to be over 85 minutes of music and song, so we decided to release 2 cd’s, volume 1 and volume 2.

The intention is to record a new album every year as the show repertoire changes.

Solitaire Records announced the release of both albums in Early September 2007.

Already the albums have been getting rave reviews from some well known music industry executives in Ireland. A distribution deal is currently being negotiated and the albums should be on general release before Christmas, worldwide
